SOKOMUNDI is an online community that enables individuals and small businesses to engage in the swapping of goods and services without the use of money. We make barter easy by leveraging the trust-building mechanisms of social networking and the information filtering and preference matching used by online dating services. We see our project as a tool for community development and a swapping "stimulus plan" for local micro-economies.
